Today was SEOP's for Juniors this week and mine was this morning. After a few set backs I finally met up with my councillor to discuss my last year of high school. Everything went well, I did get a sucker. Some sad news though, need another P.E credit and after that nothing else but a relativley easy senior years. Thank gosh for online school. I'm thinking of also doing Financial Literature online to avoid a semester of boredum. That really sounds tempting, I think I will. See this is why I love writing! I figure out so much stuff from doing it!
Anyway, I'm absolutley petrified of the future. Within the next two years, I will be going off to college. I'll be leaving the place I have lived my whole life. Sure maybe soon it'll be more exciting the closer it gets, as of now it's frightening.
I wish I could go back to the days of throwing caution to the wind. Racing bikes up and down the street. Ah the good old days. Not worrying about anything, but what we were going to eat for dinner.

TRIALS
Wow, it has been a while. Sorry, school's just been keeping me so busy I haven't really had the time to update anything. I promise I'll start getting more on top of it.
Anyway, these past few weeks have just been hard. Loads of stuff I have been having to deal with half of it school, the other half work. So let's see where to begin....
Lets just start off with school. Well I took Precalculas thinking, it won't be too bad. Just a little harder than Algebra 2 right? Wrong big time! My teacher did warn us at the begining of the year you needed a B average to pass Precal; I got a C average. First term wasn't too bad, I managed a C. Second term, on the other hand, was a D-. Want to know how I managed to borderline pass? I'll tell you. The last test of the term, I was super confident I can totally pass! I had an F from the previous test I compleatly failed. This test all I needed was a 50% to pass. The test finished and I was feeling less than confident. I knew I could at least get a D on it. On Sunday my teacher posted the scores. I sacanned down so very eagerly to find my score. There it was, 37%. My heart sank, I had failed Precal. I was crushed. I logged off waiting for my mom to see it. My brother is the first person I saw. I told him to come over so I could show him and ask him what Mom would do to me when she found out. I logged back in and there it was a D-! It went up! I was so happy! I passed, just barely, but still passed Precalculas!
So with one tragedy down time for the other one to begin. Last Friday I was on my way to work at JCW's. I walk in to the back room where our assignments are for the day. I look the list over a couple times and notice my name's not there. So I go find my boss to see if it was just a mistake or if I wasn't supposed to come in today. I find him and he says,"Go out and wait for me I need to talk to you." So I went to sit in one of the booths. My heart was racing, all I could think about was one word. Fired. I sat and waited patiently trying not to let the fear show on my face. My boss comes out and sits down.
"Now as you know we have been having allot of employees asking for more hours when there aren't any to give. Chris and Clay have told me that we need to lay people off. Taylor, we are going to have to let you go." My heart sank, me being an easy crier when it came to bad news like this couldn't help but shed a little tear. He went on to say how I was improving and how I needed to come in and collect one more check on the 26th. He then asked if I had any questions. Through the tears I tried to manage a smile and said, " Know anywhere that't hiring?" He smiled and suggested Subway and other than that he didn't know. I left with tears overflowing in my eyes.
So if you know anywhere that is hiring in the Pleasant Grove, Lindon, and or American Fork area, please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks.
Everyone's got trials, but not everyone can overcome them.

MY SCHOOL DAY
So, wow, it has been a while. I have to start getting into a habit of updating this once a week or something like that. Wow, sides it'll help me with my writing which I love to do as I'm sure all of you know.
Anyway, on to my story for today. Well my weeks are kinda crazy. Average life of a teenager I guess.
It starts off with waking up at 6 in the morning. Now for some of you it may not be that bad, but for me a total night owl, it is really horrible. Then after draggin myself out of my nice, wonderful, comfortable bed I am off to school. At school I go through three classes lunch and then another class. Classes are okay depending on what they are and who's in there with me, but most of the time I just try to take good notes and get good grades. So hopefully that pays off. Then lunch is probably one of the best times of the day. My friends and I can agree that we make some great memories and laughs at lunch. The last class of the day is more or less the hardest part of the day. Mainly due to the fact lunch just ended and you have gone through all your classes and have mounds of homework already. When it finally ends you grab your keys and lazily drive home hoping for a nap or at least. Then you do your homework. Then about two hours go by and you wonder where did the time go? Gotta love an average school day, right?

SACRIFCE
Giving up something for something else is not easy. Choosing between one and another, difficult. Some say it'll be worth it in the end. I am sure it ill be, who knows maybe you ill go back to it sooner then you think. Either way giving up something is not easy. No matter how good you are at it. However, things always seem to make things right in the end. Sorry it's so short, I'm suffering from writers block.

DRAWING A BLANK
Don't you hate it when you sit and look at a blank screen for hours? That is me, right now. I have to write this paper for English honors and my assignment was just to brainstorm. What happens when you get many ideas? Or you can't decide on one idea? Or even when you really wanna do one idea, but nothing comes together? Ugh, sometimes writing is difficult. Namely when having writers block. It's the worst! So I am suffering from that right now. I'm surprised I got this much written down. This is a short one too. Man, I hate drawing a blank!

VACATION DAY FIVE!!!
Today was Nassau. Firstly we got off the boat and had to go through the market to get into the city. After walking a good mile from the boat. Man, do those hair braiders and taxi drivers come after you. I don't know how many came up and asked to give rides and braid within the first few minutes we entered the actual city. Another not so amazing thing, none of the shops open tell ten! Even though there were two or more ships and people wanting to spend everything they owned they watited tell after ten at a certain store. I did get my friends some nice suveniors from here. Brayden a nice deck of face cards and Morgan a lovely and very purple necklace. I also got myself some sun glasses. We eventualy left earlier then normally since Mom was on the brink of exploding from heat and frustration. I don't blame here at all.
We got back to the ship and just lounged around. The other half of the island we saw from the ship and it was fairly nice. It looked where the celebraties kept their beach houses. Got a few pictures of the Atlantis Resort as well. That night we stopped off at the gift shop on the ship, which was packed and got us all something. I got my back which is supposed to change color in the sun. I hope it does, anyway. Then I went up to my club to get the numbers of those people I would probably never see or talk to again. Ended up staying there longer then I ment to, but got to bed.
The next day was nothing but lines and planes from Ft. Lauterdale to Ft. Worth then Salt Lake, so I wont bore you with all that. So it was a nice trip. Only downer is making up all the work I missed. Horray! Well now you're all caught up. Hope you're not too jealous.

VACATION DAY FOUR!!!
Today we landed in the lovely Half Moon Cay. It is a private island for the cruise ships to visit. Sadly there is hardly anyone living on the island so the crew of the Destiny have to unload all the food and drinks in the humid hot sun. They really do so much for us. Then again they are being paid pretty good so I'm sure it's worth it to them.
The beach was so beautiful! The sand was a nice white and very fine. I swear I did not want to get off that island. While Mom and Jack were on their island tour bike ride Dad, Addie, and me all explored the island. I found many beautiful shells that made the ones I had gotten in Miami slightly disapointing. The water was very clear you could see maybe fifty feet down if you were out far enough. It was also beyond warm. After we got back on the ship Mom wished she could get back in.
Back on the ship I mainly wandered around sitting on the deck in the shade since it was so far beyond hot and humid those words don't even cover it. I read my book the majority of the time. Grabbed a drink (coke) and continued to wander and read.
Soon it came time for dinner and I decided to make my way to the dining room. On my way in I run into Mom saying how she had been looking for me. I told her a thousand times I wasn't lost, but I don't think she believed me.
Dinner was awesome as usual. After wards I went up to my club, but still not staying too long. I felt out of place so I just went back to the room and collapsed.
