VACATION DAY THREE!!!

Today we ported in lovely Grand Turk.  The beach was very nice and the shops were full of things to buy.  The water felt so nice in the hot sun.  Sadly there were not enough shady trees for everyone.  Everyone had a fun time on the boat on the way to the sting rays.  Two of our instructors dived trying to find some interesting creatures that lurked at the bottom of the ocean and were lucky to recover a few interesting critters.  They found two big conch shells and a decent sized starfish.  When we got to the beach our instructor told us about the conch.  They had a creature living inside of it that the sting rays loved to eat.  To get rid of the suction he used a hammer to create a hole on the outside shell.  Then he pulled out a hideous creature that looked like it belonged in a sci fi movie.  He tore a bit of its squishy body off and offered it out for people to eat. My mother and me passed.  Jack, who'll eat anything, ate it and quite enjoyed it.  Then they all ventured out into the water and gave the sting rays a nice massage.  Jack even dared to kiss the barb of the ray.  Crazy boy.  Sadly it was time to leave.  We got back on the boat and enjoyed another lovely evening.  Didn't do much of anything else for the rest of the evening.  My club didn't sound too apealing so I just went back to my room and relazed and fell asleep.  So ended vacation day three.
